Date: 11-26-09 (Thanksgiving Day)

The action on Thanksgiving morning started at 8am in Downtown Orlando for the 20th Annual Seniors First Turkey Trot. Weather was perfect (wore shorts and a long sleeved shirt) and there were rumored to be 4200 people signed up for this race.

My best friend Jourdan and her dad and brother, as well as our friend Mark all ran the 5K race. Brett came to watch Jourdan & I and cheer us on at the finish line. Last year was the first time we ran the race (without really training) so we decided to do it again this year. Though you dont get to sleep in on Thanksgiving morning, you get such a great feeling after you finish.
